His argument is that by harnessing mainly our own oil for now, but other things too, like wind, we can replace our use of foreign oil by like 25% real quick, which'll put more money into researching NEW ways to get energy, or means of doing it. Take solar for instance. It is an expensive first time payment, but it's very little to actually upkeep once you have it, which takes even more power and money away from foreign oil.

What is YOUR arguement? You have yet to propose a thesis or synthesis, so you currently have no arguement. Update you first post to include one or I'm moving this to Null.

ROFL, his plan is pretty much what the EU decided to do in 2006.
I dislike how everyone goes for big wind turbines though, smaller ones are more mechanically efficient with less wear over long periods.

I didn't see how they actually picked apart the plan.

He wanted to transfer water into Texas. They wouldn't let him because of land laws, etc... So he builds the Wind powered Generators so that he can lay the pipeline by the generator path, instead under peoples property.

Nothing in that made me think that the OP video was wrong. Sure, he wants to make some profit by piping water along with having the wind farms up.

I like the part of the plan where they build wind turbines but we cannot use natural gas for our cars just yet...
we would need to convert our cars to run on natural gas or buy new cars that already can run on natural gas. The consumer has a huge role in this plan.
I think he should pay for the wind turbines and ask for donations that goes towards turbines.

His ulterior motive is enough for me to reject his plan.

There are better alternatives that aren't driven by dishonesty.
